A long journey, old car, rough ground, unbalanced road, mountains were all around but dry and desolate, silence, darkness, and the thing I heard that here in this area the dacoits murder first and snatch the luggage and car after. There were scary thoughts but there was firm belief of safety prayers. This was the mysterious journey of my life that I traveled on the mountains of Baluchistan with mixed feelings, tangled paths, storm of thoughts, and search of destination. My destination was the dry and desolate mountains beyond Dera Bugti. I was in an old jeep with a successful driver and two other companions.
A Person Full of Spirituality:
Our jeep stopped in front of a hut and there was a small wall of stones around it. We thought that we had reached at the destination. Due to the noise of jeep, two men came out of the hut, one was very old and the other was middle aged with specific turbans, tribal style of beards and moustaches, they met with love. They knew about our arrival so they were waiting for us. There was very cold out there. We sat in the hut on the old mattress and pillows made with wool. They served us with food and hot milk. We were thirsty and hungry due to the tiresome journey. We ate, drank milk and felt comforted. We talked and slept. Then woke up before Fajar prayer, and there came a tall, honorable man filled with spiritual enlightenment. He hugged and kissed me on my forehead with love. I feel the light, spirituality and coolness of that kiss till now and it will be forever in my heart. We offered fajar prayer and did zikr, there were some people but I will never forget the coolness of the conscience of the remembrance of Allah. Sheikh was doing zikr and what a zikr it was of “Allah Hu”, what a power and flight it had, I have no words to describe that moment, I can’t.
Three Things are Among the Treasures of Goodness:
That meeting was first and last, after that I couldn’t go there and found out that he (sheikh) has passed away. I was worried that I couldn’t meet him again. He was very kind, passionate and loving but his some spiritual words are treasures that I am carrying in my heart with safety since the day we met. And the words were: “Three things are among the treasures of goodness: 1- Hide the Sadaqah 2- Hide the disease 3- Hide the problem”. I was shocked at his words, I was not moving my head upward in respect of him but I saw the light on his face, but I couldn’t stand his spirituality, glory, dignity and majesty. I bowed my head again. Sheikh understood my manner and said: Yes! Yes! I said the truth. He could speak two languages: Balochi or Saraiki.
These Three Things are not given to everyone:
He was talking to me in saraiki, the language is called multani language also. Then said: “these three things are not given to everyone, only the one who gets who are blessed with heavenly wealth, hide the trouble as much as possible, the difficulty comes over special people hide it also, and same is the case with sadqah. He took my index finger into his hand and said my hand always touched the Holy Quran and rosary. Remember that! Don’t forget these three advices of mine. I will always remember those advices but I can never forget the memories, the meeting, the moments that we spent together. I wanted it to share with you all and thought that I should tell this incident and give the pearls that he gave to me.
